We are encouraged as believers when we read the Word and attend weekly worship services together, aren’t we? Additionally, we find that consistent time with a smaller group of believers fuels spiritual growth and true connection with other Christ-followers.
BridgePointe has two primary avenues for growth and connection in smaller settings.
LIFE GROUPS
Doing ‘life’ with others in a Life Group helps us to successfully become followers of Christ that join His mission of reaching, growing, and serving people. Life-on-life in weekly or bi-weekly circles of discussion allow us to apply God’s Word to real situations. We have fun in our life groups and enjoy being there for one another in the journey.
At BridgePointe we have adopted a 3-semester calendar for Life Groups. The semesters align with the school calendar to include:
Winter: January-April Summer: June-July Fall: late August-November
Groups are available in various locations, days of the week and seasons of life. Annual curriculum generally includes a semester of a church-wide curriculum and two semesters of application-based curriculum including a Sunday sermon application option. Sign ups for these groups occur in January, May and August on-line or in the lobby.
Growth Groups are 2-4 week teaching sessions focused on 4 key areas in our lives: marriage, parenting, finances and habits of spiritual maturity. A biblical worldview is the lens through which we discuss excellence in these pivotal areas of life as a believer. A teacher will share information and practical skills with the group. Some table discussions and/or ‘couple-time’ will be utilized where appropriate. These groups of 25-40 individuals occur primarily on Sunday mornings during the 9:00 service at Woodstock High School. During the course of the year, approximately 6 Growth Groups will be offered.

Habits of Spiritual Maturity – Saturday August 21 8:30am-1:30pm at the Outback (291 Rope Mill Rd) Childcare is not provided.
Parenting Teens- Sundays August 15 and 22 6-8:30pm at the Outback. Childcare is not provided.
Additional smaller settings for connection and growth:
MPACT- Each month BridgePointe men provide breakfast, an encouraging message and fellowship for men the second Saturday of each month at the Outback (291 Rope Mill Rd). 7:30-9a.m.
LADIES NIGHT OUT- BridgePointe women will meet at the Outback Tuesday, July 13 6:30-9pm (291 Rope Mill Rd) for time to connect with one another and be refreshed in their relationships with Jesus.
WOMEN WHO WALK- Women’s Weekend at Wildwood Baptist Faith Center (4801 Wade Green Rd Acworth). August 6 7-9:30pm and August 7 9am-3pm. Join BridgePointe Women and their friends for a weekend of worship, fellowship and encouragement. Lisa Easton will speak on her life’s journey and what she’s learned about how to get ‘unstuck’ and free of generational curses and hang ups that keep us from the abundant life that God has for us! Registration is $15 and must be paid by August 1. Register in the lobby starting July 11.
