We believe that doing ‘life’ with others in a Life Group enables us to successfully become followers of Christ that join His mission of reaching, growing, and serving people.

Sign-Up for Winter Semester of Life Groups January 10-31.  You can choose a group based on proximity, day of the week or season of life.  Choose one that aligns with your family’s needs.  View a list of group options here and register for a group here.  You can also get a brochure in the lobby between services on Sundays.

Winter Semester Curriculum

All Groups will do the same curriculum for 8 weeks during the months of February to April.

The 8 weeks of study include:

John Ortberg’s The Life You’ve Always Wanted, a DVD curriculum that teaches participants the skills essential to “running the marathon” in the Christian life: slowing down, celebrating joy, practicing prayer, studying Scripture, and trusting God.

Ed Young’s In the Zone- Living in the sweet spot of God’s success, shares powerful biblical principles about what it means to live a life blessed by God.

Your group may add additional meetings for social, serving or catch-up nights.

Recommended Materials

On Sundays in the lobby, The Life You’ve Always Wanted Participant Guides will be available for a donation of $10 for 1 or 2/$15. This tool is highly recommended, yet not a requirement for participation in a group.

FAQs:  Frequently Asked Questions

What are Life Groups?

Life groups include 12-18 individuals that meet weekly or bi-monthly in homes for a period of 10-12 weeks.  A BridgePointe Life Group is a safe place to be yourself, pursue God and make some new friends.

What happens in a Life Group meeting?

Each Life Group meeting includes fun fellowship time as well as a time to apply God's Word to our daily lives.  Prayer is also an important part of connection with God and others.  These meetings will last no longer than 2 hours.

When do I join a Life Group?

At BridgePointe we have 3 semesters of life groups in each calendar year.  January-April, June-July, and late August-November.  Sign up months are January, May and August.  Watch the bulletin and website and listen for Sunday announcements so you’ll know when to register for a group.  You are free to remain in the same group or switch groups at the session breaks.

Can I join a group mid-semester?

It is best to time your entry into a group when the groups begin each semester.  This helps the group to get to know each other well and build trust in one another as the study material is used.  If you are looking for a way to get involved and you are in between life group semesters, we would highly recommend that you follow the membership track including attending Inside BridgePointe the first Sunday of any month and participating in PLACE.  Click on Membership Track to learn more.
